The Honolulu Arts and Humanities Conference – Held in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA from Thursday through Saturday, March 12-14, 2026»
Welcome to HAHC2026
Welcome to the 2nd Honolulu Arts & Humanities Conference (HAHC2026), which is being held from March 12-14, 2026 in Honolulu – the state capital of Hawaii, USA. Organized by INTESDA, this international, peer-reviewed conference invites academics, scholars, researchers, students and others to gather and share viewpoints, ideas and research on a range of topics across the arts and humanities.
The arts and humanities offer a unique opportunity for academia to play an important role in the 21st century as they are an integral pathway for seeking knowledge, debating social issues and exploring solutions to crises. As an example, the recent global pandemic willcast a long shadow into the future, as well as expose areas of strength, resilience, creativity and innovation in the arts and humanities.
The pandemic revealed the inequities in access to healthcare and education and underscored the need for innovating the manner in which humans interact, communicate and learn. In particular, access to the arts and humanities across elementary, secondary and post-secondary education levels was adversely challenged to be innovative, to adapt to change and to overcome the difficulties of teaching and learning within the restrictions caused by the pandemic. Nevertheless, the resilience of the human spirit prevailed. Moving forward from resiliency to recovery, teachers must now take a greater role in cultivating understanding and integrating the arts and humanities modes of inquiry, creating innovation in the classroom, providing skills, encouraging diverse viewpoints and creating safe and productive academic environments.
With the theme of Post-Pandemic and Beyond, HAHC2026 will promote a critical understanding of the innovate and organic approaches from the arts and humanities towards the post-pandemic and uncertain future in which we now exist. This conference is committed to the cross-cultural exploration of the post-pandemic world. HAHC2026 encourages fresh ideas, opinions and discussions amongst teachers, academics, scholars, researchers, students and others who desire social change, solutions to crises, and the search for knowledge.
The venue for HAHC2026 will be the Airport Honolulu Hotel Conference Center. With quick access to downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, as well as excellent conference facilities, friendly staff, classic amenities and a convenient location, the Airport Honolulu Hotel is an excellent venue for HAHC2026 participants looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city traffic and explore the most popular attractions of Oahu.
HAHC2026 is being organized alongside The 3rd Honolulu Education Conference (HEC2026), as arts and humanities streams intersect with education, we encourage registrants to attend any session of their interest.
